Course Description

Students will complete 120 externship hours at a healthcare facility they get matched with. This is an opportunity to put the classroom learning into practice, while getting acclimated to a new career! Externship schedules are dependent on site availability.

  • Comfortable, closed toe, slip safe sneakers

  • Analog watch

  • Textbooks: 

    • None required

Prerequisites

  • Completed CORI/SORI background checks

  • CPR Certification

  • Resume

To register for this course, students must have passed the CSA 523 - Phlebotomy Technician or CSA 557 - Phlebotomy Bridge courses.
