PDV 101 - Registered Behavior Technician

Course Description

The RBT training course will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The course covers various topics related to ABA, including an introduction to behavior analysis, introduction to Autism, components of reinforcement, skill acquisition techniques when working with individuals on the spectrum, and responding to and preventing challenging behavior. Upon completion of the course, students will have learned the content needed to pass the RBT Competency Assessment and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) examination through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).  The RBT credential is a nationally recognized accreditation and an excellent stepping stone into a career in the field of behavioral health.
